People often ask me how I started The Very Pearl. The answer is simple: I fell in love with Baroque pearls. One day, I discovered that pearls don’t have to be perfectly round—round pearls were a result of cultivation techniques developed in the 19th century. Traditionally, natural pearls had unique, organic shapes.

This realization resonated with me deeply. Growing up in a traditional household, I often felt pressure to meet rigid expectations. But I chose a different path—pursuing art and creative freedom instead of a conventional career. Baroque pearls symbolize that same freedom. They are wild, imperfect, and beautiful—each one unique.

I created The Very Pearl to celebrate that individuality. Through my designs, I hope to inspire others to embrace their uniqueness and see beauty in imperfection. We don’t need to be “round pearls.” We can be The Very Pearl—beyond perfect.
